We sat down with Reagan, founder of Chicago Carseat Club, to learn about her brand-new business bringing professional baby gear cleaning to the city of Chicago. With a background in healthcare, a heart for safety, and a toddler of her own, Reagan is exactly the kind of person you want handling your child's most important equipment.

What made you decide to open your business?

Honestly, I got sucked into those cleaning videos online and came across a young lady — a high schooler in Kansas — cleaning car seats and strollers. It was shocking to me that this service was not being offered in Chicago. I had seen some in the suburbs but no one was servicing the city proper. I decided that I would be the one to do it!

When was your business established?

Chicago Carseat Club officially opened its doors in 2026 — making it one of the very first professional baby gear cleaning services serving Chicago's city proper.

What services do you offer?

Cleaning of car seats, strollers, wagons, and really any other baby, toddler, and kiddo gear! If your little one uses it,
I can likely clean it.

What can people expect when they work with you?

They can expect professional communication and a genuine care for their gear and their kiddo's safety. In addition, prompt responses and quick turnaround times — within reason! I work full time as a Lead Mammography Technologist, so daytime hours are a little busy. I do most of the cleaning in the evenings, but turnaround is roughly 24 hours or less.

What is the most important thing you want people to know about your business?

I am also a toddler mom myself to a little boy turning 2 in May. I know how important cleanliness, efficiency, and most importantly safety are for our children. I download all car seat manuals before starting on each cleaning. No harsh chemicals are used either! Peace of mind is huge.
